Music Collage((:

That song desribes that, you cant see whats going to happen next, so you just gotta let it happen and go with the flow[[=

This songs describes Laurie's passionate feelings for David, and how she misses him.

This song describes, somewhat like the first song, but it means we have so much more to look forward to, and we only have one life, so we need to stop fussing over small things like Problems with the Wave[=

I think this song relates to Laurie, and how shes all alone against the wave pretty much, And she wont go back on Joining the wave.

I think this song is like how Laurie is only thinking about The Wave now, so shes distracted from what really matters, like school and the newspaper.

Do you think that students are misunderstood by parents and teachers? Why or why not?

I think that most of the time, kids are misunderstood. Kids aren't listened to by parents because they think we don't know anything. But we do of course. Kids aren't sure how to react when parents don't believe in what we can do, or what we know, Sometimes we know more then parents, and we can correct them when their wrong. I think that most of the time we definateley are misunderstood.

My Memoir

My First Lanyard

Day I started my history. When I weant to Alabama, it wasn't something I was looking forward to. Nobody even notices Alabama on the map, What the heck. But I was about to find out, it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It was kinda like going to a new country. People look all different, and they have like hillbilly accents. It was so hot there. It felt like a giant greenhouse with the heater on. At first, I hated it. Especially when it was in the Summer. It took a couple days to get used to this desert like place. Alabama has lots of mountains, and the sky is blue-er then the morning ocean. And the town of Huntsville is so small, but it still has lots of things, and places to see. Its almost like everyone knew eachother. There was a lake behind the houses across the street from my cousin's house. And at night you could hear locus, and at night there were fireflies. I've never seen a firefly in my life, so there's something new. Alabama is way different then California. After a few days, it was pretty fun, I didn't really want to leave at that point. I noticed a few lanyards on a table. And I kinda got excited because I had made a couple when I was younger. So I asked my cousin if they were hers. Uh, Ofcourse they were hers. Im pretty dumb, sorry. She let me use some of her strings, She had like 20 different colors. From Hot Pink to Dark Teal. She cut some string for me and started it. It was a nice plum purple and shadow black. It was like, going back in a time machine. I haden't made one in forever. But I was kinda glad to start making them again. It took me like 6 hours all together to finish that one. I wanted to keep making some. I just kept making them and making them. I think that was the highlight of my trip to Alabama. And making lanyards was like, the main thing I did for the rest of the summer, I think it was a good way to remember my summer, I guess. But there were still some good times. It was good that I bonded with my cousins, I didn't really know them at all before it. Actually, I didn't really like them at all, from the past things that happened when I was younger and stuff. So it was a good thing I weant. Currently, I have 16 lanyards. It takes me like 2 hours if I concentrate on it only. I hope I can go back next year, besides my dad got the tickets for free since he works for the airport. And two weeks after that, our whole family weant to Big Bear for a week, so I saw them again. So yeah, fun.
